Almost everything that we want to have or do, needs to be paid for, particularly when it involves items or services we did not produce ourselves.
When money runs short, and we start to feel that growing anxiety and fear of losing what we have, then our finances can become one of our greatest sources of stress.
The good news is that doesn't have to be, this post will remind you why.

First, let's be clear: we're talking about financial problems, not poverty.
Poverty is an altogether different thing, that involves many more factors than just the lack of money. As someone wrote, poverty is also a lack of options. The absence of real opportunity for an individual to generate income, get an education and/or raise themselves above their circumstances. If you have access to an internet connected device and are reading this post, i'm fairly confident that
poverty doesn't apply to you.
Having said that, let's tackle how to end your financial problems. Are you ready for this? Ok, here it is...

SPEND LESS THAN YOU EARN.
Period.
Stop your mind before it starts protesting! Yes, it really is that straightforward. The formula is as simple as that for weight loss: Burn more calories than put into your body, you lose weight. Do the opposite, you'll gain weight. Look at that, two solutions for the price of one, in the same paragraph. Isn't today a great day? :)
Seriously, if you can consistently spend less money than you earn, you will NOT have a financial problem.
Not a single day. Till the day that you die.
No tricks or secrets involved...
That is why we said above, that this post was going to remind you. This really is no secret, it's something we all know, don't we? Our parents and grandparents knew it.
Didn't they tell us; "Don't hang your hat where you can't reach it." & "You can't have champagne tastes and mauby pocket'?
So why do we so often ignore the wisdom of the elders?
It's common sense logic, don't spend more than you have, so what's blinding us to this simple fact? That's something crucial for us to understand. Why are we set on spending more than we have? Is it a temporary crisis, is it a compulsion? We may find that our real challenge, isn't a financial one at all.
We'll talk a little more about that in our next post...
